Natural Limescale Cleaning Techniques

Updated: 5 days ago

1. White Vinegar

- Instructions:  1. Prepare the Solution*: Mix equal parts of white vinegar and water in a spray bottle.  2. Apply: Spray the solution onto the limescale-affected areas. For tougher buildup, soak a cloth in vinegar and wrap it around the affected area.  3. Wait: Let it sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the vinegar to break down the limescale.  4. Scrub and Rinse: Use a non-abrasive scrub brush or sponge to clean the area, then rinse with water and wipe dry.

2. Lemon Juice

- Instructions:  1. Apply the Juice: Cut a lemon in half and rub it directly onto the limescale. Alternatively, squeeze the juice into a spray bottle and mix with water.  2. Let it Sit: Allow the lemon juice to sit on the limescale for about 30 minutes.  3. Scrub and Rinse: Use a non-abrasive scrub brush or sponge to scrub the area, then rinse with water and wipe dry.

3. Baking Soda and Vinegar

- Instructions:  1. Make a Paste: Mix baking soda with a small amount of water to form a paste.  2. Apply the Paste: Spread the paste over the limescale-affected area.  3. Spray Vinegar: Fill a spray bottle with white vinegar and spray it over the baking soda paste. The reaction will create a foamy mixture that helps break down the limescale.  4. Scrub and Rinse: After letting it sit for 15-20 minutes, scrub the area with a non-abrasive brush, then rinse with water and wipe dry.
